LAST NOTE TO THE PARTICIPANTS TO THE

PM EMISSION INVENTORIES,

TFEIP/EIONET, QA/QC TRAINING AND GHG FOR 4D

-PM EMISSION INVENTORIES WORKSHOP- 18th October - It will take place in Pallanza-Hotel Majestic on 18/10/2004 (one hour and half away from JRC/Ispra)-Hotel Majestic or Astor

-5th JOINT ANNUAL TFEIP/EIONET MEETING- 19-20th October - It will take place in Pallanza-Hotel Majestic on 19-20/10/2004 (one hour and half away from JRC/Ispra)-Hotel Majestic or Astor

-QA/QC in Emission Inventories Training Workshop- 21st October – It will take place in JRC/Ispra (one hour and half away from Pallanza)- meeting venue: meeting room nr. 2, bldg 36; the participants will stay in the Hotel Le Terrazze (Ispra)



- Improving the quality of greenhouse gas emission inventories for category 4D- 21st and 22nd October – It will take place in JRC/Ispra (one hour and half away from Pallanza)- venue: meeting room Leonardo, bldg 26A; the participants will stay at the Hotel dei Tigli (Angera)

As mentioned also in the practical information sent earlier, the last two meetings (in green above) will take place in Ispra on the 21st of October (and also 22nd October for “quality of greenhouse”) and not in Pallanza. For this reason, and because the two places are one hour and a half away, all participants to these meetings will take a bus organised by the JRC at the end of the TFEIP meeting on the afternoon of the 20th October and transferred to Ispra, Hotel Le Terrazze, and to Angera, Hotel dei Tigli. This means that all such participants have to check out the Hotel Majestic or Astor on the evening of the 20th October.



IMPORTANT: You must also register for each meeting separately into the system and you have to give all the information concerning your arrival-departure (date, time, flight, city of departure/arrival) if you want us to arrange your transportation from the airport to the hotel and for the hotel to the airport. If you do not provide all the correct info, then there will be no transportation arranged for you!!!

Please let us know by checking the appropriate box also if you do not want any transportation.



Finally, please check the attached lists of participants to make sure that your name appears in them. If not, then please contact urgently Mrs. Madeleine Rizzi at at +39-0332-785947 or e-mail her at Madeleine.rizzi@cec.eu.int. If you have not received a confirmation letter with all the details from Madeleine Rizzi or Eleni Kompogianni, it means that you are NOT REGISTERED (unexpected problems during your registration?). In this case, please contact them urgently by e-mail.

FOR ORGANISATION REASONS,

NO REGISTRATION WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER WEDNESDAY THE 13TH OCTOBER.
