Dear Shihan, Sensei, Karateka,
As you know by now, for circumstances beyond our control, we had to postpone the seminars with So Shihan Masayuki Kukan Hisataka initially scheduled from May 17th to 21st 2006. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this postponement may have caused any of you.
We are happy to announce that we have been able to set new dates for the seminars in June. The seminar series will be held in the same order as originally planned, starting in Toronto on June 14th and concluding in the St-Jerome area on June 18th.
So Shihan Hisataka will conduct a series of 10 seminars for all karateka, regardless of style or affiliation. The seminars will be held in Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal and in the Saint Jerome area (Ste Sophie) according to the following schedule:
Toronto, Ontario Crescent Town Club (Ken Nin Kai Dojo)
Wednesday June 14th 2006 6 PM to 7 PM Juniors (below 13 years old)
7 PM to 10 PM Adults (All levels)
Ottawa, Ontario Routier Community Center (Heiwa Kai Dojo)
Thursday June 15th 2006 6 PM to 7 PM Juniors (below 13 years old)
7 PM to 10 PM Adults (All levels)
Montreal, Québec Tri-Star Martial Arts Center
Friday June 16th 2006 6 PM to 7 PM Juniors (below 13 years old)

Hanshi Hisataka will take advantage of his visit to introduce Bunkai competition (loosely translated Bunkai means Kata interpretation) that is now part of international competitions. Furthermore he will cover a variety of techniques including weapons (Bo & Boken) Kata & Kumite as well as Koshiki training drills (Ten Chi Jin). The material covered will be different for each session, except for Bunkai which will be shown in Toronto, Ottawa Montreal and St-Jerome. PLEASE ENSURE TO BRING WITH YOU YOUR BO, BOKEN AND ANZEN BOGU.
The fees for these seminars have been set as follows:
Juniors $20 per juniors session/seminar (1 hour)
Adults $55 per adult session/seminar (3 hours)
Packages have been established for participants that will be attending more than one session.
6 sessions adults $300
5 sessions adults $250
4 Sessions adults $200
3 Sessions adults $150
2 sessions adults $100
It is important to note that video cameras will not be permitted during the seminars and that spectators will not be allowed except for the juniors’ sessions. Photo opportunities with Hanshi Hisataka are planned at the end of each session.
As we have changed the original dates we would need to find out how many attendees we can expect per session. To this effect, please find attached a registration form that we would need completed and returned via e-mail to: philippe.nadeau@koshiki.ca by June 5th. If needed, it can also be sent by fax at 514-636-0118.

- take the Nicholas / Hull / Mann exit, stay in the right-hand lane for
Mann
- follow Mann; it becomes King Edward; continue along King Edward
as it crosses Rideau. Stay in the right-hand lane.

Continue on MGR Dubois: the street name will change to Bélanger which will in turn become Côte St-André.

Turn Right on Michel-Renaud (6.1 km from St-Hubert Restaurant) the street makes a sharp turn to the left. You are now on Val des Chênes, the school is at the corner of Tryvon and Val des Chênes.
