MUSEUM AND LAB EXPERIENCE

2003-present Philip L. Wright Zoological Museum, Missoula, MT



Assistant Curator and Exhibit Coordinator

  • Curation of natural history specimens

  • Accession and cataloging of new objects/specimens

  • Process temporary and permanent loans

  • Create and develop exhibits throughout the University of Montana campus

  • Assist with museum tours

  • Development and maintenance of the museum web page

  • Assist the Anthropology Department with the identification of “non-human” skeletal remains from forensic cases

  • Currently I am analyzing coyote (Canis latrans) scats collected on the Olympic Peninsula, WA, in order to identify prey species and assist researchers who are studying the decline in numbers of the Olympic Marmot (Marmota olympus).

  • Assembled information on and assisted in the creation of an Access database of archaeological sites previously recorded on Bureau of Reclamation lands in the Pacific Northwest Region
