1c. Position description:


Senior Systems Engineers: utiliVisor systems engineers are the experts in central utility plant operations and metering systems that serve in an analysis and design capacity for both of utiliVisor’s lines of business. Responsibilities include monitoring central utility plants for energy savings opportunities and providing detailed recommendations on new plant operations strategies. In addition Systems Engineers design remotely read submetering systems for utility cost allocation purposes.

Billing Consultants and Rate Consultants / Analysts: utiliVisor Billing and Rates analysts are experts in utility cost allocation, through submetering, for commercial, industrial, high – end residential, and institutional real estate. Billing and Rates Analysts are charged with identifying problems with existing submeters, interpreting commercial leases to determine invoicing structure, analyzing utility rates and producing invoices for electric, water, steam, natural gas, and BTU cost redistribution.

Service Technicians: utiliVisor Service Engineers are experts in maintaining and networking utility grade metering infrastructure for data analysis. Service Engineers test electric and flow submeters in the field to verify cost recovery systems accuracy. In addition utiliVisor Service Engineers can take design documents from utiliVisor’s Systems Engineers and build web based metering systems for client’s in the field.

  • Education and Experience Required for Service Technicians: 2 Year Technical Degree / 2 Years

Principal: Mr. Richard A. Angerame has over 30 years experience in the operation and performance of HVAC systems. He is a graduate engineer from SUNY Maritime College at Fort Schuyler with a US Coast Guard license for the operation of steam and diesel shipboard power plants. His career after graduation commenced at Carrier Air Conditioning as a systems engineer and shortly thereafter advanced as a National Engineering Manager for a US based building operations company. In 1978, Richard started his first company designing and installing chiller control systems and his company evolved into Utility Programs and Metering II. He holds several patents in chiller controls and remote metering utilizing the web and has authored several technical papers on chiller plant performance and energy efficiency.
