Ballsh (Albanian: Ballsh or Ballshi) is the capital city of the southern Albanian District of Mallakastër. The city's surrounding fields are rich in crude petroleum and are dotted by a series of oil wells established during the communist dictatorship. Only a fraction of these wells are operating today, but the city includes a working refinery, and outputs of naphthas are significant.
The football (soccer) team is KS Bylis Ballsh. It is not very far from the ancient city of Byllis. The climate is Mediterranean. It is surrounded by the hills of Mallakastra.
Bathorë From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Bathorë is an area just outside Tirana, the capital city of Albania in Eastern Europe. Much of the area is essentially a shanty town, although local and international charitable organisations are involved in laying drainage and water supply pipes, and in recent years a hospital (built by Merlin) and school (part-funded by UNICEF) have been constructed.
The area, comprising approximately 2 square miles, was originally a state-run farm, and many of the estimated 20,000 residents live in converted cattle sheds with very little space, and often no windows. Sanitation is poor and there is no legal supply of electricity, although haphazard supplies do exist.
