June 11th 2006

This show has been the anticipation of the amateur full contact circuit with Rob ‘Diesel’ Stevens fighting possibly his last amateur bout, climaxing with fighting for the I.S.K.A. European Amateur Full contact …. Weight Title.

Diesel, Midland Area, English & British title holder – 13 fights 12 wins 1 draw is battling against French opponent, Nizar Gallas, French Amateur full contact champion for 2004 & 2006, 15 fights 13 wins 3 loss.

Also topping the bill is the exciting match between Qasim ‘The Dream’ Nisar Vs Ricky Massey, contending for the Midland area position.
As always, featured on the under card are a mixture of British novices who are developing their ring craft through the amateur circuit, setting standards & raising expectations like we haven’t seen in full contact for some time.
On this hot summer’s day, kicking off at an earlier time than usual, we opened the show with two very talented youngsters who are coming through the light continuous circuit, whatever the temperature was outside, these guys certainly raised it in the ring with the first fight of the night.

  1. Kyle Williams Eclipse Kickboxing Vs Declan Bailey Alf Love BBA

Round 1

Confident stand from both corners, explosive right form the 1st second – both fighters burst into good combinations of kicks & punches. Kyle edged forward, taking lead over the latter part of the round, Declan retiring to the corner looking a little tired.

Round 3

Declan starts a bit stronger on this round with his kicks, however, Kyle’s superb kicking ability appear too much of a problem for him to overcome. Kyle Williams maintains control, style & a better range of accurate kicks & punches, winning the fight with a majority decision.
