WILLIAM CURLING (1849-1905). M.R.C.S., L.R.C.P. (Eng.), L.S.A. (Lond.), J.P.

William Curling (1849-1905) [Epsom College 1857-1862] was the son of Henry Curling, F.R.C.S., of Ramsgate, Kent, and brother of Alexander Whitehead Curling [Epsom College 1857-1859, when he drowned in the River Mole, near Box Hill]. He received his medical education at the London Hospital, and went into general practice at Hove, Sussex. He was previously Surgeon for the Ramsgate Seamen’s Infirmary. He was a J.P. for the County of Kent and Cinque Ports.


CHARLES JOHN NEWTON (1849-1914). M.R.C.S. (Eng.), L.S.A. (Lond.).

Charles John Newton (1849-1914) [Epsom College 1858-1865. Rugby XV] was the son of Lancelot Newton, surgeon, of Alconbury, Cambridgeshire, and brother of Dr Lancelot Newton [Epsom College 1855-1863], and Christopher George Newton [Epsom College 1858-1868]. He received his medical education at St Bartholomew’s Hospital, and went into general practice at Cheltenham.


WILLIAM WALLIS (1849-1935). M.R.C.S. (Eng.), L.S.A. (Lond.).

William Wallis (1849-1935) [Epsom College 1863-1868. Brande Prize] was the son of William Wallis, surgeon, of Hartfield, East Sussex, and brother of Dr Percy Evershed Wallis [Epsom College 1864-1868]. He received his medical education at Guy’s Hospital, and went into general practice at Groombridge, Sussex, where he was also Surgeon to the London, Brighton and South Coast Railway Provident Society.



WILLIAM CRAWSHAY HEANE (1849-1895). M.R.C.S. (Eng.), L.S.A. (Lond.).

William Crawshay Heane (1849-1895) [Epsom College 1864-1864] was the son of William Heane, surgeon, of Newnham and Cinderford, Gloucestershire, and brother of Henry Winnall Heane [Epsom College 1864-1864]. He received his medical education at St Bartholomew’s Hospital, and went into general practice at Cinderford, where he was also Medical Officer and Public Vaccinator for the 4th District of the Westbury on Severn Union. He died in 1895, aged 46 years.


FRANCIS GEORGE WRIDE (1849-1907). M.R.C.S., L.R.C.P. (Eng.).

Francis George Wride (1849-1907) [Epsom College 1862-1867. Captain of the Cricket XI and the Rugby XV] was the son of George Wride, surgeon, of Bishopstone, near Salisbury. He received his medical education at St Thomas’s Hospital, and went into general practice at Wootton Bassett, Wiltshire, where he was also the Medical Officer of Health for Cricklade and Wootton Bassett, as well as Medical Officer and Public Vaccinator for the 1st and 2nd Districts of the Cricklade and Wootton Bassett Union.


EDWARD YATE (1849-1900). M.B. (Lond.), F.R.C.S. (Eng.).

Edward Yate (1849-1900) [Epsom College 1858-1866. prefect. Rugby XV. Sterry Prize] was the son of Frederick Yate, surgeon, of Godalming, Surrey, and brother of Charles Frederick Yate [Epsom College 1856-1864]. He received his medical education at St Bartholomew’s Hospital, and went into general practice at Godalming.


HENRY CROCKFORD TURNER (1849-1910). M.R.C.S. (Eng.), L.S.A. (Lond.).

Henry Crockford Turner (1849-1910) [Epsom College 1863-1865] was the son of Richard Turner, surgeon, of Lewes, Sussex. He received his medical education at Guy’s Hospital, and went into general practice at Steyning, Sussex, where he was also the Medical Officer and Public Vaccinator for the 4th District of the Steyning Union.


ABIATHAR WALL (1849-1914). M.R.C.S., L.R.C.P. (Eng.), L.S.A. (Lond.).

Abiathar Wall (1849-1914) [Epsom College 1863-1865] was the son of A. B. Wall, surgeon, of Bishop’s Road, London, and brother of Septimus Wall [Epsom College 1864-1869]. He received his medical education at St Bartholomew’s Hospital, where he was awarded the Jeaffreson Exhibition. He went into general practice at Streatham Hill, South London, and was District Surgeon to the Croydon and Surrey Medical Aid Association. He emigrated later to Ceylon where he was appointed District Surgeon at Deltota.



CHARLES HENRY LOWE (1849-1926). M.R.C.S. (Eng.).

Charles Henry Lowe (1849-1926) [Epsom College 1862-1866. Rugby XV] was the son of George Lowe, surgeon, of Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire, and brother of Walter George Lowe, V.D., F.R.C.S. [Epsom College 1862-1865]. He received his medical education at St Bartholomew’s Hospital, and went into general practice at Burton-upon-Trent.


HENRY GEARY DYER (1849-1900). M.R.C.S., L.R.C.P. (Eng.).

Henry Geary Dyer (1849-1900) [Epsom College 1863-1866] was the son of Samuel Dyer, surgeon, of Ringwood, Hampshire. He received his medical education at King’s College Hospital, and went into general practice at Ringwood, New Forest, and later, at Alton, Hampshire, where he was also an Assistant Medical Officer at the Marsden Hall Lunatic Asylum, and Staff Surgeon for the 4th Battalion, Hampshire Regiment R.V.


HENRY WICKHAM (1849-1921). M.R.C.S. (Eng.), L.S.A. (Lond.).

Henry Wickham (1849-1921) [Epsom College 1861-1862] was the son of J. C. Wickham, surgeon of Didmarton, Gloucestershire. He received his medical education at St Mary’s Hospital, and went into general practice at Ormskirk, Lancashire, where he was also Medical Officer and Public Vaccinator for the Tarleton and Rufford District of the Ormskirk Union.


FRANK ENEFER NEWINGTON (1849-1908). M.R.C.S., L.R.C.P. (Eng.), L.S.A. (Lond.).

Frank Enefer Newington (1849-1908) [Epsom College 1862-1864] was the son of Jesse Newington, surgeon, of Tenterden, Kent, and brother of Charles Gilbert Newington [Epsom College 1856-1858, re-entered 1862, and left 1864]. He received his medical training at Guy’s Hospital, and for a time was Medical Officer for the Training Ship ‘Indefatigable.’ He later went into general practice at Rock Ferry, Cheshire.



FREDERIC HERMENEGILDO MILLETT EDMONDS (1849-1904). M.R.C.S, L.R.C.P. (Eng.).

Frederic Hermenegildo Millett Edmonds (1849-1904) [Epsom College 1863-1866] was the son of Frederic Edmonds, F.R.C.S., of Croydon, Surrey. He received his medical education at University College Hospital. Although he initially went into general practice at Castletown, Isle of Man, he was appointed later as Government Medical Officer for the Leeward Islands and British Guiana.


HENRY EDWARD DIXON (1849-1941). M.R.C.S., L.R.C.P. (Eng.).

Henry Edward Dixon (1849-1941) [Epsom College 1863-1865. Sterry Prize] was the son of Henry Dixon, surgeon, of Watlington, Oxfordshire, and brother of Theobald Mathew Dixon [Epsom College 1872-1874]. He received his medical education at Guy’s Hospital, and went into general practice at Abingdon, Berkshire. He was at one time Medical Officer for Margate Royal Infirmary.


FREDERICK GEORGE REE (1849-1885). M.R.C.S., L.R.C.P. (Eng.).

Frederick George Ree (1849-1885) [Epsom College 1864-1866] was the son of H. P. Ree, surgeon, of Fulham, London. He received his medical education at St George’s Hospital, and went into general practice at Ealing, Middlesex, but died in 1885, aged 36 years.


CHARLES TRICKEY JONES (1849-1923). L.R.C.P.I.

Charles Trickey Jones (1849-1923) [Epsom College 1864-1867] was the son of Dr C. R. Jones, of Torrington, Devon, and brother of Dr Francis Edward Jones [Epsom College 1861-1866]. He received his medical education at University College Hospital, and went into general practice at Ilfracombe, Devon.




WILLIAM HARRIS HEYGATE (1849-1935). M.R.C.S. (Eng.), L.S.A. (Lond.).

William Harris Heygate (1849-1935) [Epsom College 1863-1864] was the son of William Heygate, surgeon, of Newport Pagnell, Buckinghamshire. He received his medical education at University College Hospital, and went into general practice at Cosham, Hampshire, where he was also the Medical Officer for the Widley and Wymering District of the Fareham Union. He was a Member of the British Medical Psychological Association.


THEOPHILUS GLASCOTT VAWDREY (1850-1940). M.R.C.S., L.R.C.P. (Eng.).

Theophilus Glascott Vawdrey (1850-1940) [Epsom College 1862-1869. prefect. Carr Exhibition] was the son of T. G. Vawdrey, surgeon, of St Austell, Cornwall. He received his medical education at University College Hospital, and went into general practice at Lewisham, South London, where he was also a Surgeon for the Royal Kent Dispensary, Greenwich.


DOUGLAS WILLIAM DUKE (1850-1900). M.R.C.S., L.R.C.P. (Eng.), M.D. (Georgetown).

Douglas William Duke (1850-1900) [Epsom College 1860-1866] was the son of Dr Allen Duke, M.D., of Chichester, Sussex. He received his medical education at Guy’s Hospital. During the Franco-Prussian War he served as Assistant Surgeon with the International Ambulance (1870), and received the German War Medal with ribbon. He later served as Medical Officer of Health at Cannes (Officier de Santé, Marseilles, France). On returning to England he went into general practice at St Leonard’s-on-Sea, Sussex, where he was Medical Officer of Health for Hastings Rural District, and Assistant Surgeon at the East Sussex Infirmary.


THOMAS WAKEFIELD (1850-1941). M.A., M.B. (Cantab.), M.R.C.S. (Eng.), L.S.A. (Lond.).

Thomas Wakefield (1850-1941) [Epsom College 1863-1867. prefect] was the son of C. A. Wakefield, surgeon, of Regent’s Park, London, and brother of Astley Wakefield [Epsom College 1863-1867]. He won the Tancred Scholarship to Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge, and then completed his medical training at University College Hospital, before entering general practice in Nottingham Place, London.


JOHN CHARLES ATKINSON (1850-1882). L.R.C.P., L.M. (Edin.), M.R.C.S. (Eng.), L.S.A. (Lond.).

John Charles Atkinson (1850-1882) [Epsom College 1860-1867] was the son of Dr J. C. Atkinson, of Bessborough Gardens, London. He received his medical education at King’s College Hospital, and went into general practice at Bessborough Gardens, London. He died at the early age of 32 years. No further details known.


FRANCIS EDWARD JACKSON (1850-1884). M.D. (Aberdeen), M.R.C.S. (Eng.), L.S.A. (Lond.).

Francis Edward Jackson (1850-1884) [Epsom College 1861-1866. Rugby XV] was the son of Francis Jackson, surgeon, of Chertsey, Surrey. He received his medical education at St Bartholomew’s Hospital where he won the Hichens Prize (1871), and then at Aberdeen University. He went into general practice at Longsight, Manchester, but later joined the Colonial Medical Service. He emigrated to the Straits Settlements (Malaysia), where he served as a Surgeon and Honorary Magistrate for the Civil Service. He died at the early age of 34 years. No further details known.


MARK ANTONY ROBINSON (1850-1911). L.R.C.P., L.R.C.S. (Edin.), L.M.

Mark Antony Robinson (1850-1911) [Epsom College 1863-1868] was the son of M. A. Robinson, surgeon, of Ditchling, Sussex. He received his medical education at St Thomas’s Hospital, and went into general practice at Hove, Sussex. He was previously a Surgeon in the Madras Army, India.


FRANCIS JOHNSON (1850-1900). M.R.C.S., L.K.A.C.P. (Ire.).

Francis Johnson (1850-1900) [Epsom College 1864-1868] was the son of Thomas Johnson, surgeon, of Bassingham, Lincolnshire. He received his medical education at the London Hospital, and went into general practice at Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire.


CHARLES THOMPSON ALEXANDER (1850-1886). M.R.C.S. (Eng.).

Charles Thompson Alexander (1850-1886) [Epsom College 1865-1866] was the son of C. L. Alexander, F.R.C.S., of Great Dover Road, South East London. He received his medical education at Guy’s Hospital, and went into general practice in the Borough, South-East London. He died in 1886, aged 30 years. No further details known.


EDWARD KINNERSLY CORBIN (1850-1931). M.R.C.S. (Eng.), L.S.A. (Lond.).

Edward Kinnersly Corbin (1850-1931) [Epsom College 1865-1868] was the son of M. A. B. Corbin, F.R.C.S., of Guernsey. He received his medical education at St Thomas’s Hospital and Paris University. After medical qualification, he was Resident Physician at the Royal Bethlem Hospital, but later on went into general practice at St Peter Port, Guernsey, where he was also Medical Officer for the Districts of St Martins and St Andrews, Guernsey, and Surgeon for the Hospital at St Peter Port.


FREDERICK AUBYN MONKS (1850-1917). M.R.C.S., L.R.C.P. (Eng.), L.S.A. (Lond.).

Frederick Aubyn Monks (1850-1917) [Epsom College 1863-1867] was the son of Edward Monks, surgeon, of Hackney, East London, and brother of Albert Robert Monks [Epsom College 1867-1869], and Ronald de Vries Monks [Epsom College 1873-1874]. He received his medical education at Guy’s Hospital, and was appointed Assistant Medical Officer at Hoxton House, Colney House and Derby County Asylums for a time, but then went into general practice at Hampstead, London.


HERBERT TAYLOR (1850-1915). M.B., M.R.C.S. (Eng.).

Herbert Taylor (1850-1915) [Epsom College 1862-1867. Senior Entrance Scholarship. Rugby XV. Watts Science, Brande and English Prizes] was the son of David Taylor, surgeon, of Kennington, South London, and brother of Sir Frederick Taylor, M.D., P.R.C.P. [Epsom College 1856-1863]. He received his medical education at St Bartholomew’s Hospital, and then went into general practice at Kennington, South London.



GEORGE NEWSTEAD (1850-1925). M.B., B.S. (Newcastle), M.D. (Durham).

George Newstead (1850-1925) [Epsom College 1865-1865] was the son of George Newstead, surgeon, of Eccleshill, Yorkshire. He received his medical education at Newcastle University and Dublin, and went into general practice at Blyth, Northumberland, with the additional appointment of Surgeon for the Knight Memorial Hospital, Blyth.


JAMES CROMPTON EAMES (1850-1930). M.D. (Edin.), M.R.C.S. (Eng.), L.S.A. (Lond.).

James Crompton Eames (1850-1930) [Epsom College 1862-1863] was the son of T. B. Eames, surgeon, of Stoneclough, Manchester. He received his medical education at Edinburgh University, and was appointed Medical Officer of Health for Kearsley, Lancs.


WILLIAM LIONEL WINSHIP (1850-1878). M.R.C.S., L.R.C.P. (Eng.).

William Lionel Winship (1850-1878) [Epsom College 1864-1865] was the son of William Winship, surgeon, of Newcastle-upon-Tyne. He received his medical education at University College Hospital, and went into general practice at Rothbury, Northumberland, where he was also the Medical Officer and Public Vaccinator for the Alwinton District, Rothbury Union. He died in 1878, aged 28 years. No further details known.


JOHN BATES HOFFMEISTER [afterwards AUBREY] (1850-1930). L.R.C.P., L.M. (Edin.), M.R.C.S. (Eng.).

John Bates Hoffmeister (1850-1930) [Epsom College 1865-1868] was the son of Sir W. C. Hoffmeister, M.D., F.R.C.S., of Cowes, Isle of Wight, and brother of Dr William Hoffmeister, M.D., Surgeon Apothecary to H.M. Queen Victoria [Epsom College 1856-1860], and Charles Reginald Hoffmeister [afterwards Cosway] [Epsom College 1866-1866], and father of Dr Cyril John Robey Hoffmeister [now Aubrey] [Epsom College 1893-1899], and Brigadier Herbert Arthur Reginald Hoffmeister [now Aubrey] [Epsom College 1893-1898]. He was awarded an Entrance Scholarship to St Bartholomew’s Hospital, and later went into general practice at Cowes, Isle of Wight. He was appointed Surgeon to H. M. Queen Victoria in the Isle of Wight, as well as Surgeon to the Royal Yacht Squadron.


FREDERICK GEORGE STANLEY WILDE (1850-1927). L.R.C.P., L.A.C.S., L.M. (Edin.).

Frederick George Stanley Wilde (1850-1927) [Epsom College 1865-1866] was the son of John Wilde, surgeon, of Winchester. He received his medical education at King’s College Hospital, and went into general practice at Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.


ROBERT MAXWELL BOODLE (1851-1940). M.R.C.S. (Eng.), L.S.A. (Lond.).

Robert Maxwell Boodle (1851-1940) [Epsom College 1861-1863] was the son of R. H. Boodle, surgeon, of Chilcompton, near Bath, and brother of Richard William Boodle [Epsom College 1861-1863]. He received his medical training at St Bartholomew’s Hospital, winning the Kirke’s Gold Medal in Medicine. He was initially appointed Resident Medical Officer at Rochdale Infirmary, and after that went into general practice at Sittingbourne, Kent.



CHARLES WILLIAM HARVEY (1851-1918). M.B. (Lond.), M.R.C.S., L.R.C.P. (Eng.).

Charles William Harvey (1851-1918) [Epsom College 1863-1867] was the son of William Harvey, surgeon, of South Petherton, Somerset, and brother of Dr Walter Anstice Harvey [Epsom College 1856-1860]. He received his medical education at University College Hospital, and the Universities of Paris and Vienna. He was employed as a Surgeon for the P. and O. Steamship Company. During the South African War he was awarded the Transport Medal, and the Order of the Medjidieh 4th Class.


FRANK GREAVES (1851-1931). M.R.C.S. (Eng.), L.S.A. (Lond.).

Frank Greaves (1851-1931) [Epsom College 1863-1867] was the son of Henry Greaves, surgeon, of Bishop’s Waltham, Hampshire. He received his medical education at the Middlesex Hospital, and went into general practice at Upper Holloway, North London, where he was also an Honorary Surgeon for the Holloway Dispensary, and Surgeon for the St Anne’s Maternity Society. He was Vice President of the London and Counties Medical Protection Society, and Vice President and Treasurer of the Incorporated Medical Practitioners Association.


HENRY FREDERICK GRIFFIN (1851-1891). L.S.A. (Lond.).

Henry Frederick Griffin (1851-1891) [Epsom College 1863-1868] was the son of Dr John Griffin, of Banbury, Oxfordshire. He received his medical education at University College Hospital, and went into general practice at Ledbury, Herefordshire. He died in 1891, aged 40 years.


GEORGE EDWARDS KEER (1851-1901). M.R.C.S., L.R.C.P. (Eng.).

George Edwards Keer (1851-1901) [Epsom College (1863-1865; re-entered 1866-1868] was the son of George Keer, surgeon, of Wickham Market, Suffolk, and brother of Dr John Cordy Keer [Epsom College 1867-1873], Frederick William Keer [Epsom College 1873-1875], and James Cordy Keer [Epsom College 1879-1884]. He received his medical education at Guy’s Hospital, and went into general practice at Wickham Market, Suffolk, where he was also Medical Officer for Wickham Market District and Workhouse, Plomesgate Union.


ALFRED EMSON (1851-1908). L.R.C.P., L.R.C.S. (Edin.), L.S.A. (Lond.).

Alfred Emson (1851-1908) [Epsom College 1864-1865] was the son of Alfred Emson, surgeon, of Dorchester, Dorset. He received his medical education at St Thomas’s Hospital, and went into general practice at Dorchester, where he was also the Medical Officer for the Dorchester District and Workhouse, Dorchester Union. He served for a short period in the Royal Navy as a surgeon.


EDWARD JOHN MORRISS (1851-1878). M.R.C.S. (Eng.).

Edward John Morris (1851-1878) [Epsom College 1863-1866] was the son of E. J. Morriss, surgeon, of Barking Road, London. He received his medical education at St Bartholomew’s Hospital. For a while he was Medical Superintendent of the Liverpool Royal Lunatic Asylum, but he then went into general practice at Plymouth, Devon; was Surgeon to the South Devon Militia, and a Medical Examiner for the Royal Navy Reserve Force. He died in 1878, aged 27 years.




LEWIS JOHN NEWNHAM (1851- c. 1882). M.R.C.S., L.R.C.P. (Eng.).

Lewis John Newnham (1851- c. 1882) [Epsom College 1863-1866] was the son of Dr Lewis Newnham, of Camberwell Road, South London, and brother of William Harry Newnham [Epsom College 1865-1873], and Dr Ernest Edmund Newnham [Epsom College 1871-1875]. He received his medical education at Charing Cross Hospital, where he won the Silver Medal for Medicine. He went into general practice at Southampton, but later emigrated to South Africa, where he was resident at Alexandria, Cape of Good Hope. He is thought to have died in about 1882, aged 31 years. No further details known.


JOHN FREDERICK BREACH (1851-1897). L.R.C.S., L.M. (Edin.), L.S.A. (Lond.).

John Frederick Breach (1851-1897) [Epsom College 1864-1869] was the son of John Breach, surgeon, of Aston-upon-Thorpe, Oxfordshire. He received his medical education at Guy’s Hospital, and went into general practice at Wallingford, Berkshire, where he was also the Medical Officer for the Cholsey District of the Wallingford Union.


TREVOR WILLIAM WYNN WILLIAMS (1851-1890). M.R.C.S. (Eng.), L.S.A. (Lond.).

Trevor William Wynn Williams (1851-1890) [Epsom College 1864-1866] was the son of Dr A. W. Williams, of Portman Square, London. He received his medical education at St Bartholomew’s Hospital, and went into general practice at Brixton, South London. He died in 1890, aged 39 years. No further details known.


THOMAS GEORGE FOSBROOKE RICE HOBBES (1851-1919). L.F.P.S., L.M. (Glas.), L.S.A. (Lond.).

Thomas George Fosbrooke Rice Hobbes (1851-1919) [Epsom College 1863-1868. Rugby XV] was the son of J. L. Hobbes, surgeon, of Belbroughton, near Birmingham. He received his medical education at Queen’s College (Birmingham University), and went into general practice at Sutton Coldfield, where he was also the Medical Officer and Public Vaccinator for the Sutton Coldfield District of the Aston Union, Warwickshire, and Medical Officer for the Jubilee Dispensary, Sutton Coldfield.


JAMES BENJAMIN RUSHER (1851-1912). M.R.C.S. (Eng.), L.S.A. (Lond.).

James Benjamin Rusher (1851-1912) [Epsom College 1865-1868] was the son of J. G. Rusher, surgeon, of Pershore, Worcestershire. He received his medical education at St Bartholomew’s Hospital, and went into general practice at Pershore, where he was also Medical Officer for the Pershore District and Workhouse of the Pershore Union.


HENRY FOORDE CLARK (1851- c. 1896). L.R.C.S., L.R.C.P. (Edin.).

Henry Foorde Clark (1851- c. 1896) [Epsom College 1863-1868] was the son of Robert Clark, surgeon, of Farnham, Surrey. It is not known where he obtained his medical education, and he is documented as being resident in India, and later in New South Wales, Australia. He is thought to have died between 1894 and 1901. No further details found.


NORMAN BRUCE ELLIOT (1851-1904). L.R.C.P. (Lond.), M.D. (Durham), F.R.C.S. (Eng.), D.P.H. (Eng.), L.S.A. (Lond.).

Norman Bruce Elliot (1851-1904) [Epsom College 1861-1862] was the son of Dr Robert Elliot, of Denmark Hill, South London. He received his medical training at Guy’s Hospital. He was also a Barrister-at-Law of the Middle Temple. No further details known.


EDWARD SAMUEL GREENSILL (1851-1924). M.R.C.S., L.R.C.P. (Edin.).

Edward Samuel Greensill (1851-1924) [Epsom College 1866-1868] was the son of J. N. Greensill, surgeon, of Great Witley, Worcestershire. He received his medical education at St Bartholomew’s Hospital, and went into general practice at Stourport, Worcestershire.


FRANCIS JAMES BERESFORD (1851-1931). L.R.C.S., L.M. (Edin.).

Francis James Beresford (1851-1931) [Epsom College 1866-1867] was the son of J. W. Beresford, surgeon, of Narborough, Norfolk, and brother of John Waddington Beresford [Epsom College 1868-1869]. He received his medical education at the Royal School of Medicine, Manchester University, and went into general practice at Wealdstone, Harrow, North West Middlesex.

Frederick Arthur Farr (1851-1916) [Epsom College 1866-1866] was the son of Frederick Farr, surveyor, of Dunstable, Hertfordshire, and brother of Dr Joseph James William Farr [Epsom College 1870-1874], Dr Ernest Farr [Epsom College 1870-1870], and father of Dr Arthur Farr [Epsom College 1885-1891], and Frederick Harold Farr, L.D.S. [Epsom College 1891-1898]. He received his medical education at Charing Cross Hospital, and went into general practice at Earls Court, Kensington, London.


THOMAS NUGENT GRIFFITH (1852-1892). M.R.C.S., L.R.C.P. (Eng.), L.M. (Edin).

Thomas Nugent Griffith (1852-1892) [Epsom College 1866-1867] was the son of Edward Griffith, surgeon, of Oakley Street, North West London. He received his medical education at University College Hospital, and went into general practice at Oakley Square, London. He died in 1892, aged 40 years. No further details known.
