Conclusiones


Cuando terminé la realización de este sitio sobre teorías de aprendizaje y diseño instruccional, no sólo había logrado mi objetivo, sino que también había profundizado más y logrado una apreciación integral sobre las diferentes teorías del aprendizaje y sus posibles aplicaciones en el diseño instruccional.


Me resultó muy interesante saber que no soy la única interesada en entender mejor los procesos de aprendizaje y en realizar una mejor práctica en el diseño instruccional. Me ha quedado claro que hay un lugar para cada teoría dentro de esa práctica del diseño instruccional, el cual depende, de la situación y del ambiente de aprendizaje. Estoy a favor, especialmente, de la idea de usar la aproximación objetivista con el fin de que el aprendiz desarrolle su propia “ancla” de referencia antes de comenzar a moverse por su cuenta en el océano abierto del conocimiento. Una comprensión básica de los materiales de apoyo por parte del aprendiz es el compás que le servirá guía para viajes más lejanos.
Otra consideración es la de poder distinguir entre “capacitación” y “educación”. En el mundo de los negocios actuales, el diseño instruccional puede requerirse para establecer y cumplir los objetivos de una empresa u organización. Pero por otro lado, desde un punto de vista más social y de los intereses del sistema educativo, el diseñador instruccional tendrá que preocuparse por proporcionar materiales que fortalezcan la capacidad del individuo de forma integral, que le permitan encontrar aproximaciones divergentes en la solución de problemas. Cualquiera que sea la situación, el diseñador instruccional se encontrará en situaciones, en la que requerirá de un entendimiento amplio de las teorías de aprendizaje que le permitan diseñar el ambiente de aprendizaje más apropiado.
Para finalizar, el pensamiento del diseño instruccional podría tener una tradición conductista, nuevas incursiones hacia el proceso de aprendizaje continúan para remplazar, cambiar y alterar el proceso. Los avances en la tecnología hacen de las aproximaciones constructivistas un aprendizaje posible. Ya sea que se diseñe para capacitación o para educación, la caja de herramientas del diseñador instruccional debe contener un número cambiante y creciente de aplicaciones teóricas y posibilidades físicas. Con las aplicaciones inteligentes de las estrategias de teoría de aprendizaje, el diseñador instruccional moderno seguramente encontrará soluciones para las necesidades de aprendizaje del siglo XXI.
