Environmental Sustainability

MGM Resorts International is focused on reducing the environmental impact of its resorts by adopting a philosophy of sustainable design, construction methods in new developments and renovation and implementing methods of sustainable operations that yield innovative conservation and waste management efforts.


Community Relations and Philanthropy

It is the mission of MGM Resorts International to strengthen communities in which it operates. The MGM Resorts Corporate Philanthropy Program serves as the principle funding entity for the company’s community and social investments with the objective to collaboratively strengthen organizations and programs located where its employees live, work and care for their families.


Employee Giving

MGM Resorts International takes a leadership role in corporate citizenship through its employee-funded MGM Resorts Foundation. The Foundation is the company’s nonprofit, philanthropic entity that collects and disburses employee donations to deserving charities and causes where its employees live and work. During its 2012 campaign, the Foundation raised $4.7 million. Since its inception in 2002, the Foundation has disbursed almost $50 million in employee donations to charities in communities where the company operates.
