THE SEVEN MARRIAGE BLESSINGS

Abbreviated by RABBI FRANK 877 4A RABBI

These seven marriage benedictions have been part of Jewish weddings for thousands of years. Kabbalistically, the number 7 represents the seven “Heh-Chaloth“-Heavens, that one passes through spiritually to become one with God. On this marriage day, the genuine love between the bride and groom automatically places them in the seventh heaven.

RABBI:

1. Baruch ata Adonai ehloheynu mehlech ha-alam boreh p’ri ha-gafen. Amen.
Praised are You, Supreme Spirit of the Universe, who creates the grapes that give us the wine. Amen.
Please join me in confirming and blessing this marriage and these benedictions as we say together, Amen.
2. Baruch ata Adonai…
We praise you, dear God, as the Creator of all beautiful and glorious life! Amen.
3. Baruch ata Adonai…
We praise You, dear God, Creator of man and woman! Amen.
4. Baruch ata Adonai…
We praise you, dear God, Creator of each person in your image, that they may perpetuate life! Amen.
5. Sohs tasis v’tagehl ha-akarah…
May the world rejoice with peace! We praise you dear God, who causes the world to rejoice! Amen.
6. Sa-me-ach te-sa-mach reh-im ha-ah-hu-vim…
We praise you dear God, who causes these loving companions, our bride and groom to rejoice! Amen.
7. Baruch ata Adonai…
These are our prayers dear God, that you bless the groom and bride with joy and happiness! Amen.

TESTIMONIALS ABOUT RABBI FRANK
“For his dedication, perseverance, reverence and commitment to being a Jew, not just being Jewish, and for his unselfish spirit and drive which ignites, generates and inspires others…Rabbi Frank exemplifies Judaism and humanity, kindness and caring, helping and sharing…” a Tribute to Rabbi Frank, by Jordan Shapiro, Arlyn and Henry Chandler,

Phyliss and Ron Harris
“Your unique, and spiritual nature complimented our lifestyle…It was ‘B’Shert‘ (meant to be), that you were to come into our lives and touch our hearts with your words, words we shall live by the rest of our lives”

Traci and David Winn
“It was beautiful, it was touching, it was warm, it was inspiring, it was thought provoking, and the humor and kindness glued it all together!”

Bill and Madeline McConnell
“Our daughter Dorain and our new son-in-law, Jeff Rubeck, were truly blessed with a wedding ceremony that truly rejoices in the great wealth, tradition and ritual of our religious heritage.”

Maury Joseph
“We had no doubt when we reached an understanding in your offices the day we met that no one on earth could do a better job (for our marriage). We are kicking ourselves that we don’t have a video tape of the event - at least an audio tape. We so want to hear the grace and beauty of your words again, and I am afraid they are lost forever. I was beaming under the Chuppah with the wonder of what you said.”

Cathy Silton and Richard Gannon
“You performed the baby naming ceremony for our son, Stephen Broc,…In your understanding of our interfaith relationship to each other, you performed the ceremony in a way that made all who attended feel like welcome participants, and not guests. You invite comfort, command respect and have an aura about you that opens the souls of some and the hearts of others. Your reputation and style precede you with laurels.”

The All Peoples Synagogue, known in Hebrew as Temple “Kol Ha Amim”, is a Synagogue “dedicated to serving all branches of Judaism”, interfaith families and welcoming all.
As a symbol of God’s open “Chuppah”, the canopy of love, the All Peoples Synagogue reaches out to all the Jewish and Jewish/Interfaith families in Palm Beach, Broward and Dade counties, and serves humanity throughout the world. Everyone is always welcome at the All Peoples Synagogue.
The All Peoples Synagogue has been dedicated since 1972 to serving all the unaffiliated, which represent approximately 85% of the Jewish population in South Florida.
The All Peoples Synagogue was founded through the vision of the late Rabbi Dr. Emmet Allen Frank that, “we will open our arms, our hearts and the doors of the Synagogue to welcome everyone to celebrate in the spirit of Judaism”, as inspired from the book of Isaiah 56.7. “My house shall be called a house of prayer for all peoples sayeth the Lord, God.”
Rabbi Loring J. Frank and the associate Rabbis believe Judaism is a religion and a spiritual path that welcomes all peoples who seek to attune to the presence of God in their lives as the source of health, abundance, joy, love and holiness.
The basic philosophy and purpose of the All Peoples Synagogue is to serve everyone searching for Jewish spiritual awakening, welcoming peoples of all branches of Judaism. The unique religious progressivism of the All Peoples Synagogue serves all Jewish people,

Liberal, Reform, Humanistic, Reconstructionist, Conservative, Progressive and Orthodox, and the larger communities of other religious backgrounds who desire to learn more about the history and faith of the Jewish people. The All Peoples Synagogue offers various Jewish educational seminars. The Synagogue encourages and supports anyone who wishes to learn about the faith of Judaism by offering Introduction to Judaism and Conversion to Judaism Seminars.
The Rabbis and Synagogue staff are available to officiate at various life cycle occasions, including Brit and Baby Naming ceremonies, Bar & Bat Mitzvah instructions and services, Jewish and Interfaith Marriage Ceremonies, Memorial and Unveiling Services, and all other religious ceremonies pertaining to our Jewish heritage and traditions.
The main Synagogue sanctuary is open seven days a week for prayer, meditation, viewing of Judaica art work and objects, for individuals and/or Jewish heritage tour groups.
To better serve the South Florida Jewish community, the All Peoples Synagogue sponsors High Holy Day services and Passover Seders at various locations. Everyone is always welcome to attend, membership is not required.
The All Peoples Synagogue is supported by donations from the people who avail themselves of the services of the Synagogue and others who sponsor the ongoing outreach efforts of the Synagogue. For more information about the All Peoples Synagogue and other rabbinical and life cycle ceremonies, please contact the Synagogue.
