P R E S S R E L E A S E Dynamic Positioning training in Russia has got international accreditation September 25-26, 2007 Makarov Training Centre of Admiral Makarov State Maritime Academy was certified by The Nautical Institute commission. Makarov Training Centre became the first one in Russia that has international accreditation for Dynamic Positioning (DP) System Operator training. The training is provided in accordance with The Nautical Institute training program. The integrated bridge simulator includes console that imitates the real ship DP System and allow carrying out complex training in different offshore operations: mooring, towing.  
Makarov Training Centre provides the following training courses for deck officers and personnel of ships with DP System: DP Induction Course – 5 days DP Simulation Course – 5 days The integration of The Nautical Institute methods, modern simulation technologies, ship equipment and competent instructors guarantees the effectiveness of training course: high level of theory learning and practical skills of ships equipped with DP System management.
